No. 18 LSU heads to Auburn on Saturday still looking for its first road win under Lane Kiffin. ESPN’s FPI has predicted the winner of the SEC matchup and believes LSU has a strong possibility of doing so.
The FPI is giving LSU a 71.2 percent chance of defeating Auburn. Both teams are coming off wins. Last weekend, LSU shut out visiting Mississippi State 31-0 and Auburn knocked off host and then-No. 1 Georgia 27-24.
LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt passed for 289 yards with 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. It was LSU’s first shutout in SEC play since blanking Mississippi State 45-0 during their 2007 national title season.
