For the first time since 2023, Florida and Mizzou are tangling on the gridiron again. Like the last meeting in 2023, this game will be in Columbia.

From 2012 to 2023, the Gators and Tigers met annually as members of the SEC East. The annual meetings ended when the conference dissolved divisions upon the expansion to 16 teams with the additions of Oklahoma and Texas. The new SEC model with 9 conference games adds another chapter in a series with 13 entries that have gone 7-6 in MU’s favor.

In recent years, the Gators have run into trouble at Memorial Stadium. Florida has lost 3 of its last 4 against Mizzou in Columbia from 2017 to 2023, only leaving with a win in 2019.

Jon Sumrall‘s Gators enter as the higher-ranked team at No. 8, and they’re the betting favorites against No. 25 Mizzou at home. Ahead of the game, Bill Connelly shared the projected final score for the game via ESPN’s SP+. Connelly’s model has Florida escaping with a narrow win, 28-26.

While the SP+ projection has Florida winning, it has Mizzou covering the betting spread. The current DraftKings Sportsbook line has UF favored by 5.5 points.

Mizzou vs. Florida is set for 3:30 p.m. ET, airing on ABC.
