Fans applaud ‘all-time’ Penn State-Notre Dame uniform matchup

Folks, we’re in for a truly elite uniform matchup tonight at the Orange Bowl.
The Fighting Irish have their golden domes and white shirts with gold pants while Penn State has their clean Navy on White look. It’s simple, but simplicity is more than enough sometimes.
It’s an old-school look for what will be an old-school type of battle. Both of these teams are going to want to run the ball, and both lean on their defense as a main strength.
The internet agrees. College football fans, media members and personalities took to social media on Thursday night to share their appreciation for what is an elite jersey matchup. Ohio State and Texas, which will face off on Friday night, also have a pair of great uniforms on the other side of the bracket, as some pointed out.
