The Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame will induct 4 new legends from the Gators and Bulldogs during a ceremony at the end of this month in Jacksonville.

Florida greats Brandon James and Todd Johnson will be inducted with Georgia standouts Freddie Gilbert and Sony Michel on Oct. 31 during a ceremony in Jacksonville. The ceremony will be part of the Florida-Georgia weekend, with the SEC rivals colliding on the field in Jacksonville the next day at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

James was a running back at Florida from 2006-09, but he made his name as an elite return specialist. He appeared in 50 games at UF and set 4 SEC and 11 Florida records, including career kickoff return yards (2,718), career punt return yards (1,371), most total kick returns (229) and most total return yardage (4,089).

Meanwhile, Johnson was a defensive back at UF from 1999-2002, becoming a cornerstone of the Gators’ secondary during those years. Johnson started 35 games and appeared in 47 games overall at Florida, being named first-team All-SEC in 2000 and 2001 and second-team All-SEC in 2002.

Gilbert was an elite defensive end and defensive tackle at Georgia in the early 1980s. The Georgia native was a first-team All-SEC selection in 1982 and 1983, and was a first-team All-American in ’83.

Michel was a running back for the Bulldogs from 2014-17, piling up 3,613 yards and 33 touchdowns during his 4-year run in Athens. He was also effective out of the backfield during his Georgia career, catching 64 passes for 621 yards and 6 touchdowns.

The Florida and Georgia football social media accounts celebrated the 4 inductees with these posts:
