A lot has changed in the 29 years since Kentucky last beat Florida in football with a 10-3 decision on Nov. 15, 1986.
The Gators have dominated the series ever since, extending their mastery of the Wildcats to 29 games following this past season’s 14-9 decision in Lexington on Sept. 19. The winning streak is the nation’s longest active one by one FBS team over another.
Florida, which won the SEC East for the first time since 2009, is now 319-234-15 (56 percent) all-time against all teams that currently make up the SEC. The Gators have dominated nobody like Kentucky, although they’ve won the last 11 meetings at Tennessee’s expense.
