Florida reveals Tom Petty helmet stickers ahead of LSU game

Florida has officially dubbed Oct. 15 Tom Petty day, and the Gators are coming to celebrate with a special touch.
On Friday ahead of the LSU game, the team revealed Tom Petty helmet stickers. Here’s a look at those, which have already been a hit.

Florida is planning to celebrate the Gainesville native in big fashion — there will be pop-up airstream trailers with Petty memorabilia set up throughout Celebration Pointe and at Gator Walk Village before the game on Saturday. The event honors Petty, who died in 2017.
SiriusXM’s “Tom Petty Radio” will broadcast from the North Lawn at Gator Walk Village on game day. Florida and LSU are set to kick off at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday.
