Florida State releases video of Mike Norvell’s fiery pregame speech for upset of Alabama

Florida State fans can now go behind the scenes during the season with a new show on the Seminoles Unconquered app. As you can imagine, the pre-game footage from the victory vs. Alabama is even more epic in the aftermath.
The first episode has a clip of head coach Mike Norvell giving a fiery pregame speech prior to Florida State stunning then-No. 8 Alabama in Week 1.
“I know who you are and I know what you’re about to do. Calm and confident! Then you put this thing [FSU logo] on display. You put it on display for 60 minutes. You hit their ass over and over and over again,” Norvell said.
“Man, you give relentless effort. Man put your soul out there on that field today…You are always in control of you. The circumstance doesn’t define you. Your response does…Just go be you and we’re going to show the whole country what Florida State football is all about.”
The Seminoles did just that, putting the nation on alert and going from unranked to No. 14. Next up is a home matchup on Saturday against East Texas A&M (12 p.m. ET), which will be televised on the ACC Network.
