Nine SEC teams among most valuable in college football, Forbes says

Forbes recently released its annual list of the most valuable college football programs in the country.

The leading publication for measuring wealth among high-profile executives, public companies and sports, Forbes uses a complex set of financial data to come up with the value of each university’s football program.

Of the Top 20 teams in terms of value in 2014, the SEC claims nine. Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt are the only conference schools not among the 20 most valuable in all of college football.
