Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson, a former Alabama standout, is a day closer to getting back to the football field and there is reason for optimism after Robinson was shot twice in late August in an attempted robbery.
Robinson was seen back out on the practice field on a bike doing some work on a side field. According to reports, Robinson didn’t appear to show any signs of discomfort.

There have been reports that Robinson could be back in action in Week 5, which is the soonest he is allowed to return. That’s good news for the 2022 third-round pick, who may still get a chance to make an impact this season.
The Commanders are set to face the Tennessee Titans that week on Oct. 9 at noon CT in their own stadium.
