The winding college football road that Walker White has traveled took another turn Sunday, as the former Auburn and Baylor quarterback has reportedly transferred to Central Arkansas.

247Sports reported that White, who was the 16th Baylor player to enter the transfer portal when it opened Jan. 2, is headed back to his home state – as he played high school football at Little Rock Christian Academy and was a 4-star prospect in the 2024 class.

White played one game as a freshman at Auburn, going 2-for-5 for 18 yards and adding four carries for 18 yards in a victory over UL Monroe in 2024. He transferred to Baylor following that season aiming to compete for the starting job but served as a backup all season long to Bears starter Sawyer Robertson – who completed 60.3% of his pass attempts for 3,681 yards, 31 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Even with Robertson’s solid stats, the Bears finished the season with a 5-7 record and a 3-5 mark in Big 12 play. Baylor has received a commitment from transfer quarterback DJ Lagway, who recorded two star-crossed seasons at Florida before himself entering the portal earlier this month. Lagway threw for 4,179 yards and 28 touchdowns with 23 interceptions as a Gator from 2024-25.
