Former LSU offensive lineman Carius Curne has committed to Ole Miss for the 2026 season.

That’s according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, who notes that Curne is regarded as one of the top offensive linemen in the transfer portal. As a true freshman in 2025, Curne started played in 7 games this season for the Tigers and made multiple starts.

Curne is a huge addition for Ole Miss as the Rebels plan to build on their momentum in 2026 under Pete Golding.

As for LSU, the Tigers evidently did not want to lose Curne to the Rebels. He accused LSU of holding up his paperwork during the transfer portal process. He signed with LSU as a top-100 recruit in the class of 2025. Curne then played 306 snaps as a true freshman this past season, per Pro Football Focus.

Ole Miss has already earned several key commitments from transfers for 2026 as it also prepares for a CFP game against Miami on Thursday night. Curne is the 8th transfer to commit to the Rebels so far.

Ole Miss is expected to continue being aggressive in the transfer portal over the coming weeks.
