Nik Bonitto played at his college football at Oklahoma from 2018 to 2021, before being drafted with the No. 64 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.

The former Sooners star watched Oklahoma’s 42-25 loss to South Carolina on Saturday, and Bonitto believes it might be time for some changes in Norman.

“I love my school, but this is crazy,” Bonitto posted on X. “Gotta make a change,”

The Sooners were dominated in every facet of the game, as the defense had no answer for LaNorris Sellers. The Gamecocks quarterback finished the game 19-of-24 for 302 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. While the Sooners were able to take one of those back for a touchdown, it didn’t matter as he also rushed for another 96 yards and two scores.

With the loss, Oklahoma is now 4-4 on the year and has no chance of making it back to the College Football Playoff. If former players are calling for changes, then fans are also going to start wanting changes as well. The noise is getting loud right now in Norman.

During Bonitto’s time with the Sooners, he finished with 117 tackles and 19 sacks.
