Week 8 of college football action is getting underway and there are once again a number of competitive games being played this weekend.

Analysts at FOX Sports recently gave their College Football Playoff picks with the official release of the rankings upcoming in just two weeks. Brady Quinn went with Ohio State at the top of the rankings, an opinion that has become widespread and is perhaps the most popular in the country.

Quinn believes the Buckeyes have been the best team in the nation from start to finish at this point and noted how much of a factor quarterback CJ Stroud is in helping that team roll. There are questions regarding just how teams like Alabama, Michigan and Georgia could play into the postseason as well with some other outside contenders like Tennessee showing the potential to edge its way in.

One of the most unpredictable postseason races in recent history, this will be a back half of the season that is sure not to disappoint.

Quinn had these 4 teams in his Playoff field:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Alabama
  3. Clemson
  4. Michigan

Here’s a look at Reggie Bush’s Playoff foursome:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Alabama
  3. Clemson
  4. Georgia

Matt Leinart has Tennessee atop his CFP rankings:

  1. Tennessee
  2. Ohio State
  3. Clemson
  4. Georgia

And, finally, here’s how Urban Meyer sees the Playoff shaking out:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Georgia
  3. Tennessee
  4. UCLA

We’ll see if any of them are proven right when the final rankings come out in December!
