Georgia football lost a commitment from wide receiver De’Nylon Morrissette Monday evening, the 4th former Bulldogs WR to enter the portal since it opened on December 4.
Morrissette will have 3 seasons of eligibility remaining after playing sparingly in 2023. The former 4-star prospect hauled in just 4 receptions for 34 yards across his 2 years in Athens.
He appeared in 11 of 13 games as a freshman, seeing work mostly on special teams.

Morrissette is one of a few Georgia players who ran into issues off the field during the offseason. He was arrested over the summer for driving related offenses including DUI. Once he returned to the team Morrissette dealt with a few injuries that kept him off the field for the majority of the 2023 season.
Jackson Meeks, Mekhi Mews and Yazeed Haynes have entered the portal for the Bulldogs. On the other side of things, the Bulldogs have landed transfer commitments from former Vanderbilt WR London Humphreys and former Miami WR Colbie Young.
