Georgia OL Xavier Truss is paying tribute to his former teammate on Saturday, the late Devin Willock.
Willock, who was also a Georgia lineman, died in a car crash back in January after Georgia celebrated its second-straight national title.
On Saturday, with the Bulldogs set to take on UT Martin as they begin their quest for a third-straight national championship, Truss will honor his former teammate by wearing his old No. 77 jersey:

Chandler LeCroy, a Georgia staffer, was also killed in the crash on Jan. 15.
Truss is a senior lineman from Rhode Island. He was named a preseason-All-SEC second-team selection at SEC Media Days in Nashville last month. He played in all 15 of Georgia’s games in 2022, starting 14 of them at left guard.
Georgia is set to take on UT Martin on Saturday evening at Sanford Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. Eastern time and the game can be seen on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
