Georgia will look to cap off an 11-win regular season in Week 14 with a Black Friday showdown with rival Georgia Tech that has a twist to it this time around.

Instead of the rivalry that began way back in 1893 taking place in Athens or at Georgia Tech, it will be staged in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium in a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ABC. The programs put on a memorable show last year that will be hard to top on Friday, with Georgia prevailing at home, 44-42, in an 8-overtime thriller in 2024.

What do the Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets have for an encore in 2025? Sunday’s opening betting line suggests that it might not be so close this time, with the 4th-ranked Dawgs being installed as a 13-point favorite in the neutral-site, national TV showcase. The total for the game has been set at 59.5.

Here is the opening betting line for the rivalry game and the rest of the Week 14 slate:

Both teams will have a ton at stake in the Week 14 matchup, with Georgia trying to nail down a possible trip to the SEC Championship Game in the same stadium the following week and also stay on its path to a possible College Football Playoff berth.

Meanwhile, 9-2 Georgia Tech will be trying to bounce back from Saturday’s brutal home loss to Pittsburgh that put its ACC title game chances in peril. The Yellow Jackets now need a lot of help to get to that ACC Championship Game while they face their bitter rivals in a nonconference game that still means everything in the state of Georgia.
