Georgia Tech is currently tied for fifth place in the ACC with a 9-9 conference record (15-14 overall). It’s a fine year, but not one that is going to lead to an NCAA Tournament berth.
Considering the Yellow Jackets were facing a postseason ban heading into the season, they have apparently decided to drop their appeal of the ban.
Per Tori McElhaney of The Athletic, the Yellow Jackets will not play in the ACC Tournament and their season will end with a game against Clemson on March 6. Also, as you can see below,

Something to add on this: Georgia Tech is still appealing two other penalties levied by the NCAA (scholarship reductions and official visit limitations). There is no timeline on exactly when the decisions will be made for those two penalties. https://t.co/QNOD6U5zgk

The good news for Georgia Tech is that this means the team will be eligible for postseason play next year. The bad news? No chance to pull off some upsets in the ACC Tournament.
