No. 19 Texas A&M is looking to take the next step in its second year under Mike Elko. ESPN’s Greg McElroy believes the Aggies will have a strong 2025 season in large part because of their rushing attack.
Part of why McElroy has Texas A&M at No. 13 in his personal rankings is because of the running game. Second-team All-SEC running back Le’Veon Moss is flanked by the same 5 starting offensive linemen.

“I love their run game…The offensive line should be 1 of the best in the SEC, and they also have the running back room to back it up with Le’Veon Moss who got banged up at the end of the season, but he runs as hard as anybody I saw in college football last year,” McElroy said. “..Super physical. Extremely violent and was amazing on yards after contact.”
McElroy also points out the bolstered depth at running back behind Moss.
“But now he’s not going to have to do it on his own because Amari Daniels is a year older. He does a really good job spelling him and then the guy that was hurt last year in the preseason, Rueben Owens, he should be back at 100 percent,” McElroy said. “I think the rushing attack for the Aggies, that’s what I love the most.”
The running game will look to get off to a solid start when Texas A&M hosts UTSA on Aug. 30 (7 p.m. ET/ESPN).
