The 4 Heisman Trophy finalists are together in New York in preparation for the ceremony on Saturday night.

LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr., and Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. are the finalists for the award. On College GameDay, the 4 players were interviewed about their respective seasons.

Kirk Herbstreit asked Daniels how he was able to grow into the type of player he’s become and improve so much from last season.

“Just the work that I put in throughout the offseason…” Daniels explained. “When we came back, we wanted to take our offense to another level, that started by hanging out outside the field more, trusting each other more, and we started seeing the results on Saturdays.”

Penix was asked about the competitive spirit between the 4 players.

“We’ve just been enjoying our time here, soaking up the moment,” explained Penix. “There hasn’t been too much competitive stuff going on.”

Nix was then asked about his decision to transfer to Oregon after spending 3 seasons at Auburn.

“After I left Auburn, I just wanted to pick somewhere that had all the resources for me to compete at a high level and I felt like Oregon was the best place,” the Oregon QB explained.

Harrison Jr. was asked about the pressure that has been placed upon him, being the son of a Hall of Fame NFL player.

“I definitely think I’m one of the best players in the country, regardless of position,” Harrison declared. “(The pressure) is just something I kind of embraced over time, something I got used to.”

The players will find out which one of them is the Heisman Trophy winner Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
