Part of ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreitโ€™s job is to make predictions during ESPNโ€™s โ€œCollege GameDay.โ€ Each week, weโ€™ll keep track of how the former Ohio State quarterbackโ€™s SEC prognostication is going for the 2015 season.

This week: 2-2
Season: 8-6

THE PICKS

Week 4 was a mixed bag for the ESPN analyst. Tennessee’s come-from-ahead loss denied him his third straight winning week, as he had to settle for .500.

LOSS: Tennessee over Florida โ€” Volunteer fans are still wondering about what might have been as Florida erased a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter to pull out a 28-27 win..

WIN: Texas A&M over Arkansas โ€” It wasn’t the, uh, butt kicking that Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury predicted, but a hard fought game in Arlington went the Aggies’ way, 28-21 in overtime.

LOSS: Auburn over Mississippi State โ€” Herbstreit thought Sean White would make enough plays to knock off the Bulldogs. Not quite, as Dak Prescott and MSU notched a 17-9 win.

WIN: Kentucky over Missouri โ€” Continued faith in the Wildcats paid off for Herbstreit as the Wildcats recorded a 21-13 win over the slumping Tigers.
