While a lot of college football analysts are buying into the Kentucky Wildcats this season, CBS Sports broadcaster Brad Nessler isn’t quite sold yet.

Although he thinks the Wildcats are a good team, they still may not be good enough to beat Georgia Saturday.

Nessler made an appearance on “SEC this Morning” on the SEC Network and said this about the Cats:

“It seems like with Kentucky, Iโ€™ve seen this movie before,” Nessler said. “I look at it, I go, OK, theyโ€™re 6-0, first time theyโ€™ve beaten Florida and LSU since you guys werenโ€™t even born yet I donโ€™t think. It seems like theyโ€™re ready for primetime even though itโ€™s an afternoon game. I donโ€™t know. Iโ€™m not sold, but I will be because crazier things have happened. I didnโ€™t expect what happened last week in College Station to happen either.”

Despite his skepticism, he did praise the team and coach Mark Stoops for their efforts.

“I really like Will Levis and I like what theyโ€™ve done, their tight ends are good, I wish Josh Ali was healthy because Iโ€™d like to see both teams be at 100 percent,” Nessler said. “Love their ground game, I donโ€™t know, weโ€™ll have to see, I wish they had everybody at 100 percent. I wish both teams were 100 percent healthy and weโ€™d find more out. But theyโ€™ve gotten this far, and if I had to vote for Coach of the Year, not just in the SEC, but in the country, itโ€™d be (Mark Stoops) I think heโ€™s done a marvelous job in his 9 years there and Iโ€™m sure other people are going to come after him. But I think heโ€™s built a really good program there and itโ€™s great for Kentucky.”
