Jadan Baugh considered the transfer portal last year, but first-year coach Jon Sumrall did everything in his power to make sure that Baugh stayed in Gainesville.
There is no denying that Baugh is one of the best running backs in the country, as his combination of power and speed makes him extremely difficult to tackle.

The Gators struggled on offense last season, but Baugh was as good as any player on the team. He finished the 2025 season with 1,170 yards and eight touchdowns, despite seeing a loaded box all season.
Dallas Wilson and Vernell Brown II are one of the most talented duo receivers in the SEC, and if they are able to stay healthy and reach their potential, then Baugh could be in store for an even bigger season in 2026.
Baugh is going to be the bell cow for the Florida offense, and if the Gators are able to remain in contention in the SEC, then he could be in the running for some postseason awards in December.
