Jaden Rashada, former Georgia QB, sets up recruiting visit to Conference USA program
Jaden Rashada, who played quarterback at Georgia in 2024, has set up an official visit to Western Kentucky for this weekend, according to a report on Thursday by ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Rashada chose to transfer from Georgia in January, entering the transfer portal after things in Athens did not work out as he had hoped after transferring from Arizona State.
Now, Rashada is on the move yet again, and this time it might be to a Conference USA program.
Rashada has already had a whirlwind collegiate career without much playing time. The former No. 44 overall recruit in the 2023 class started 2 games at Arizona State that fall before missing 9 straight games with a re-aggravated injury from his high school career. In those first 2 games for the Sun Devils, Rashada completed a combined 34 of 60 passes for 403 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception.
Even before he stepped foot on a collegiate field, it was a rollercoaster for Rashada during his recruitment. He initially committed to Miami in June 2022 before signing with Florida that December. But shortly after signing with the Gators, Rashada requested a release from his letter of intent. UF granted the request, and Rashada eventually committed to Arizona State in February 2023 after also visiting TCU.
After unsuccessful stints in Tempe and Athens, Rashada’s collegiate whirlwind is spinning yet again.
