Many will remember former Alabama long snapper Carson Tinker, who was made famous after the tornado that rocked Tuscaloosa years ago.

After the storm, which caused the deaths of Tinkerโ€™s girlfriend, Ashley Harrison, and 246 other people, Tinker released a book titled โ€œA Season to Remember: Faith in the Midst of the Storm.โ€

Now with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tinkerโ€™s season came to an abrupt halt this week, according to a report by AL.comโ€™s Mark Inbabinett. The Jaguars placed Tinker on injured reserve after he had been limited in practice due to a knee injury.

Tinkerโ€™s injured knee is reportedly the same one hurt last year when he tore his ACL during the 2017 preseason. From 2013-2016, Tinker served as the long-snapper for all 64 of the Jaguarsโ€™ games.
