Georgia QB Jake Fromm is one of the top quarterbacks in the country entering the 2019 season, but he’s looking to do even more.
All great players constantly want to improve, and Fromm is no different as the Bulldogs get their fall camp underway.
On Saturday, Fromm highlighted a couple of areas of his game he thinks he can do better, including handoffs and other little things (via Rivals):
โI was talking to one of our coaches and thereโs some details in the play-action run game, in the run game, in the pass game, things like what can I do around the pocket, how can I be quicker twitch, and be able to make throws whether itโs off balance in the run or in the pocket,โ Fromm said. โThereโs a lot I still need to do.โ
Such as?
โItโs details with handing the ball off, what am I doing with my off-hand, how can I get my head around quicker to see the defense when Iโve turned my back to the ball,โ Fromm said. โThereโs so many little things in football that people donโt think about.โ
Many think Fromm could end up being the first quarterback off the board in the 2020 NFL Draft if he has a big season.
The details he’s talking about will only help him impress NFL scouts even more.
