Jalen Hurts produces elite rushing game to put him in rare NFL company

Former Alabama and Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts recorded his 8th career game with multiple rushing TD, which broke a tie for 2nd-most by a quarterback since 1950 behind only Cam Newton (10) on Sunday.
He ended the Eagles’ 25-20 win over the Chicago Bears 22-of-37 passing for 315 yards and 2 interceptions with 61 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns on 17 carries.
Hurts has been an elite dual-threat quarterback at the NFL level, and so far this season is hitting at a 68% completion rate, 3,157 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. He’s recorded 686 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground this year.

In his NFL career, Hurts has registered a 62.6% completion rate, 7,362 passing yards, 44 touchdowns and 16 interceptions, accompanied by 1,824 rushing yards and 23 ground scores on 341 carries. How he continues to progress will be something to watch.
