Jaxson Dart surpasses Shedeur Sanders as betting favorite to be QB2 in 2025 draft

Jaxson Dart is now the betting favorite to be the second quarterback selected at the 2025 NFL Draft.
Miami quarterback Cam Ward is the overwhelming favorite to be picked No. 1 overall by the Tennessee Titans at the top of the draft. But after that? Dart is now -140 to be the next QB off the board, per the latest odds from bet365. Sanders is priced at +100 to be QB2, so it’s still a relatively tight race.
The former Ole Miss QB has surpassed Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who was long thought to be the QB2 in this class prior to an apparent slide in the day’s before the draft. NFL decision-makers reportedly have concerns about Sanders both on and off the field, leading to a potential slide down the board on Thursday night.
Dart, meanwhile, has received glowing reviews from NFL executives throughout the pre-draft process, starting with the Senior Bowl in Mobile way back in February.
At bet365, Dart has an over/under draft position of 24.5 with the under juiced all the way up to -250. Sanders’ over/under is below that of Dart’s at 21.5 (under -150, over +120).
The 2025 NFL Draft is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday night.
