Jay Johnson addresses possibility of throwing Paul Skenes in Game 3

Let’s not sugarcoat things: LSU baseball got blown off the field in Sunday’s Game 2 loss to Florida. The Tigers were on the wrong end of history in a 24-4 blowout that was only close for a few innings.
LSU’s pitching has been fantastic this week until Sunday. The Tigers only surpassed Tennessee and Wake Forest because of it. But Sunday was a different animal.
Paul Skenes threw over 120 pitches in Thursday’s win over Wake Forest to necessitate the Tigers’ matchup against the Gators in the title series. Now, with a winner-take-all game ahead of them, do the Tigers throw Skenes Monday? if so, in what capacity?
Tigers HC Jay Johnson, for now, is playing things close to the chest.

You have to think, with LSU’s season on the line, Skenes will see the mound at least once tomorrow, at least in relief.
For now, it seems all we can do is speculate.
