The 2020 season has been utter chaos for a number of schools. In the SEC, only Kentucky and South Carolina finished their original 10-game slates on time.

Adding into the chaos for the remaining programs, many of which play both this weekend and next weekend, is the fact that the Early Signing Period takes place from Dec. 16 to 18.

Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt was asked about that hectic schedule and how he was handling it. He said he’s bringing his cell phone to practices these days, which is something he hasn’t done in his coaching career:

Obviously, Pruitt will be hoping for good news on the recruiting front, but a lot of the news has been bad in recent weeks.

We’ll see what kind of 2021 class Pruitt can put together next week while he also prepares for his squad to host a tough Texas A&M team.
