“Time to tear off the review mirror and go get ready for the third-ranked team in the country.”
“I know our guys are looking forward to the challenge, the opportunity to go against a team of this quality in The Swamp.”
“Coming back, this is a totally different Ole Miss team than what I coached against those years I was in the conference (2008-2011 at Alabama). They have done a phenomenal job recruiting.”
“(WR Laquon) Treadwell is as good as anybody in the country.”

On WR Brandon Powell’s block on the touchdown pass to WR Antonio Callaway:

“He’s a guy you must be aware of…You have to know where he’s at. You build your plan around sliding to him, getting an extra chip on him. He’s going to make plays because he’s a naturally great player. You don’t want him to be a disruptor.”

On coming from behind to beat the Volunteers:
“The thing that was most satisfying in this one, is I never sensed any panic on our sideline…I was really proud of how they finished that game.”
On K Jorge Powell filling in for the injured K Austin Hardin:
“Let’s talk about unsung heroes. Jorge, our kicking guy, he made a game-saving tackle. And he made that kick (after the Callaway touchdown).”

On using defensive players on offense a la Ole Miss’ use of DT Robert Nkemdiche near the goal line:
“(DT) Joey Ivie’s our fullback in our big personnel. We’ve used him on about 12 plays. And we’ve got (CB) Vernon Hargreaves a package on offense, our cat package. And he’s back to being healthy.”
