Joe Burrow has led the Cincinnati Bengals to the AFC Championship Game, where they’ll face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday with a spot in the Super Bowl on the line.
Burrow was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft after winning the Heisman at LSU in 2019 and leading the Tigers to the national title that year.
Prior to his time at LSU, though, Burrow was an afterthought at Ohio State. On Wednesday, he said he still has fond memories of his time with the Buckeyes:
Joe Burrow, asked during his press conference today about his time at Ohio State: “I wouldn't be the same player that I am today without those trials and tribulations that I went through there. I loved my time there. I stay in contact with a lot of people from Ohio State.”

Burrow will obviously be remembers for a long time in Baton Rouge. But, it sounds like he still carries good memories from his time in Columbus, too.
