Amidst Alabama’s beefed up support staff, the Crimson Tide added one of their own, according to AL.com.

Former Alabama nose tackle Josh Chapman joined the Crimson Tide’s staff. Chapman played nose tackle at Alabama from 2007-11 before playing in the NFL for four seasons with Indianapolis. He was cut from the Colts last September.

Chapman currently serves as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Crimson Tide.

He was a fifth-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. He recorded 36 tackles and one forced fumble in the NFL.
