The Crimson Tide gained a pledge Sunday from ILB Gary Johnson according to 247Sports’ Tim Watts.
Johnson, originally from Dawson, Ala., currently plays at Dodge City Community College in Kansas. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker also had offers from Georgia and Ole Miss.
UA now has seven commits in its class for 2017, ranked No. 6 nationally by 247Sports.
