Justin Williams-Thomas, former Tennessee RB, announces Pac-12 transfer destination

Justin Williams-Thomas spent just 1 season on Rocky Top before hitting the transfer portal.
The rising sophomore running back was placed 4th on the depth chart behind Jabari Small, Jaylen Wright and fellow freshman Dylan Sampson. He suffered some injuries preseason that lingered and ultimately derailed his possibility of seeing the field in the later months of the year after losing out to Sampson on the depth chart.
But Williams-Thomas is in for a fresh start, announcing that he would be transferring to Stanford Tuesday morning.

Despite being No. 4 on the depth chart for Tennessee, this is a huge get for the Cardinal. Williams-Thomas runs angry and was rated as a 4-star prospect in the Class of 2022 cycle. He rushed for 37 yards on 11 carries in 3 games for Tennessee this past season.
