Kentucky is adding a homegrown offensive lineman to its Class of 2027 list. Three-star interior offensive lineman Brady Hull announced his commitment to Kentucky via social media on Thursday.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound prospect out of Somerset drew the attention of South Carolina, Auburn, and Tennessee, among others, prior to making his decision. Hull plays his prep ball for Somerset (Ky.) Pulaski County.
Hull is regarded by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 9 prospect from Kentucky and the No. 27 interior offensive lineman in the nation.
In addition to head coach Will Stein, other staff members active in the recruiting process included offensive line coachย Cutter Leftwich, run game coordinatorย Derek Warehime, offensive coordinatorย Joe Sloan, general managerย Pat Biondo, and assistant general managerย Pete Nochta.
Hull cited Leftwich as a main factor in committing to Kentucky.
โCoach Leftwich is a very intelligent guy. He knows what heโs doing,โ Hull said to KSR, via A Sea of Blue. โI love the offense they run. Their offense really stands out in terms of the offensive linemen and develops them. Everybody sees what theyโre doing. Heโs done a great job with his energy. Heโs one of the best offensive line coaches Iโve ever been around. Since heโs so young, I can relate to him and go to him whenever I need anything.โ
