Kentucky is resting this week amid a season of revival in Lexington, as the Wildcats who have surged into the AP Top 10 are enjoying a well-earned bye week.

When Will Stein‘s team that’s been one of the best stories of the 2026 college football season returns to action in Week 10, it’ll head to Tennessee for a tough road matchup against the current 16th-ranked team in the country. Meanwhile, Kentucky is the No. 9 team in the country, as Big Blue Nation revels in their 7-1 team that is also 5-1 in the SEC.

And after the Cats get through with the Vols at Neyland Stadium, they will return to their home stadium in front of their fired-up fans, as Kroger Field will be the site of a Week 11 showdown against Florida, which is currently ranked 17th.

That Florida-Kentucky game won’t just mean a lot in the SEC title race and the national landscape, it’ll be filled to the top with fans in Lexington as Kentucky announced on Friday afternoon that the game is sold out.

The Nov. 14 matchup between the Gators and Wildcats will kick off at some time between 6-8 p.m. ET, with the exact start time and TV designation expected to be announced next Monday.

With the Florida showdown now being a sellout, that brings Kentucky’s sellout total for the season to 4 games.

The Florida-Kentucky sold-out matchup next month will feature a Kroger Field Black Out, with all Cats fans encouraged to wear black for the night game.

There will also be Night Ops and a Salute to Veterans at the game, with another packed house greeting the 2026 Wildcats, who have captured the imagination of a long-suffering SEC football fan base.
