Kentucky makes history with first road win over a top-10 team in decades.

Kentucky took a step in the right direction last week when it was leading Alabama by four points at the half, but things eventually got out of hand in that game.
Despite that, first-year coach Will Stein has the Wildcats taking strides when it comes to competing in the SEC. On Saturday, the Wildcats took multiple steps after they picked up a historic 31-21 road win at No. 9 Texas A&M.
The win was historic for the Wildcats, as they hadn’t beaten a top-10 opponent on the road since they beat Penn State in 1977.

Kentucky fans are hoping that the season ends in a similar fashion, as the Wildcats went 10-1 while also knocking off No. 16 LSU on the road that same year.
From the moment Stein became the coach, there has been excitement and optimism that he could get the team on the right track. The fans have bought in the entire time, and the crowd at home last week against Alabama was a sign that they believe. As excited as they have been, the win on Saturday will only take the hype to another level.
The Wildcats will be back in action next week at home against South Alabama.
