Both teams enter Saturday with 5-2 overall records and 2-2 marks in SEC play. While the Vols remained ranked at No. 21 in the country, the Wildcats fell off after a 51-13 loss to the No. 1-ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Oct. 7.
Kentucky looks to end a 2-game losing streak from the Georgia game and the defeat against Missouri, 38-21, last Saturday. The Wildcats started the season on a 5-game winning streak before the skid.
Tennessee had a 5-1 start to the season before No. 11 Alabama defeated the Vols 34-20 on Saturday. The Vols have yet to win a road game this season with an 0-2 mark away from Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Kentucky has been tough at home with wins over formerly ranked Florida and Vanderbilt in SEC play plus 3 non-conference wins over Group of 5 schools. The Wildcats lost for the first time at home last Saturday against the Tigers.
