During rivalry week, generally that features a matchup of conference opponents. However, there are a few across the country that feature teams that aren’t in the same conference, with Florida and Florida State being one of the biggest ones.
While neither of these teams are going to be playing in a bowl game, this game still promises to be as intense of every season. Kickoff between the Seminoles and Gators will be at 4:30 p.m. ET will be on ESPN2.

Neither of the teams has had the season they would have hoped for. The Gators fired coach Billy Napier during the season, while the Seminoles will have a tough decision to make with coach Mike Norvell.
The Seminoles were the talk of college football in Week 1, as they dominated in a 31-17 win against Alabama. However, since then it has been a tough year. They have to win this game to become bowl eligible.
As bad as it has been in Tallahassee, it has been even worse for the Florida Gators. They enter this game with a 3-8 record, and have been blown out in recent losses to Kentucky and Tennessee.
