Kirk Herbstreit names 2 SEC players among top performers for Week 12

Kirk Herbstreit spotlighted a pair of SEC players as he rolled out his weekly list of top performers on Twitter on Monday.
Spencer Rattler, South Carolina’s quarterback, was a well-deserved selection after his showing against No. 5 Tennessee on Saturday. Rattler threw for 438 yards on 30-of-37 passing and found the end zone 6 times, both career highs, in a 63-38 rout of Tennessee at Williams-Brice Stadium. The Gamecocks are 7-4 and face Clemson next to wrap up the regular season, with a win giving them their most wins in a season since bagging 9 in 2017.
Raheim “Rocket” Sanders received a nod from Herbstreit as well following Arkansas’ 42-27 win over Ole Miss. The Razorbacks running back took 24 carries for 232 yards and 3 touchdowns as his team claimed bowl eligibility and snapped a 2-game losing streak. Arkansas renews the Battle Line Rivalry on Friday as it heads to Missouri to take on the Tigers before shifting its attention to its bowl game.
