Alabama stunned most of the nation when it walked into Athens and left with a 24-21 win Saturday night, as the Crimson Tide threw plenty of haymakers at the Georgia Bulldogs in a statement effort.

One such punch came late in the second quarter when left tackle Kadyn Proctor lined up on the perimeter with two receivers in front of him. To the glee of Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler in the booth, Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson proceeded to fire a quick pass out to Proctor, who followed his blockers and rumbled inside the five-yard line.

The 6-foot-7, 365 lb. lineman showed off some impressive athleticism during the play, which is something that Herbstreit took note of during his call. Following the game, the longtime ESPN college football analyst shared his live reaction to the entertaining screen as well as his thoughts on the upset as a whole.

The inside look into the booth revealed Fowler’s ear-to-ear smile while Proctor worked his way down the field and also showed how the two interact during and after a marquee play like that.

As he mentioned, Herbstreit does expect Georgia to bounce back, but he emphasized that Alabama was the story of the night and dubbed Proctor a true “athlete” at left tackle. The likely first-round NFL Draft pick may not make a living catching screen passes, but professional teams now know that he has that ability should they ever want to dip into their bag of tricks.
