Week 10 was somewhat of a snoozer.

Alabama, LSU, Ohio State and Penn State all had a bye week, and Clemson trashed non-conference opponent Wofford. Really, the only good game came when Georgia defeated Florida 24-17 in the Cocktail Party.

Jake Fromm was magnificent, throwing for two touchdowns and icing the game on a 3rd and 7 throw to tight end Eli Wolf. After the game, Fromm was fighting back tears because of what his head coach said to him. Oh, and speaking of Kirby Smart, he called out Georgia fans after the win, too.

ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit called the SMU-Memphis game Saturday night, and he released his updated top six teams following Week 10.

1. Ohio State Buckeyes
2. LSU Tigers
3. Alabama Crimson Tide
4. Clemson Tigers
5. Penn State Nittany Lions
6. Georgia Bulldogs

Last week, Florida was ranked No. 6, according to Herbstreit, but following Georgia’s win in Jacksonville, the Bulldogs jumped back into the conversation. UGA certainly isn’t out of the College Football Playoff picture. It still controls its own destiny, and if it were to win out and win the SEC Championship Game, Georgia would be in the Playoff.

Things are set to get mighty interesting in November.
