Knox Kiffin, 2028 QB prospect, confirms he’s received scholarship offers from multiple P4 programs
Knox Kiffin, the son of new LSU head coach Lane Kiffin and a major quarterback prospect in the Class of 2028, told On3’s Adam Gorney on Tuesday that he’s earned recent offers from Washington and California.
“I finally got my film out there,” Kiffin told On3.
While Kiffin still has 2 more years of high school football in 2026 and 2027 before he lands with his chosen collegiate program in 2028, there is a lot of buzz surrounding Kiffin considering his potential impact and, of course, his last name. Kiffin’s father just switched jobs, leaving Ole Miss and Oxford, where his son starred this past season for Oxford High School, for SEC rival LSU.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Kiffin was up to 9 scholarship offers with still those 2 seasons of high school football left. Now, Washington and Cal are among the growing list of programs who are coming after Kiffin, who had previously received an early offer from SMU last May.
The Big Ten and ACC have now come calling for Kiffin with these offers from Washington and Cal.
Kiffin had a banner sophomore season this fall for Oxford High School, passing for 1,236 yards and 14 touchdowns with only 2 interceptions in just 8 appearances after he transferred from Palos Verdes in California during the offseason.
Kiffin is expected to play for U-High in Baton Rouge next fall.
