Georgia, South Carolina WR target Kyle Davis wins 7 on 7 MVP at The Opening

Kyle Davis from Lawrenceville, Ga., further solidified his status as one of the nation’s best wide receiver recruits after securing MVP honors at The Opening’s 7 on 7 competition.
Originally a South Carolina commit, the highly touted Davis decommitted from the Gamecocks back in May. Most consider him a near Georgia lock at this point (247Sports has an 87% prediction level for Davis going to Georgia), but there’s plenty of time left for Davis to change his mind.
247Sports has Davis as their No. 1 WR in the nation. Their composite ranking has him ranked No. 5.
