In a bit of surprising news on Tuesday, the Ole Miss Rebels parted ways with OL coach Randy Clements.
The timing is a bit strange, as the Rebels just got done with spring practices 3 days ago with the annual Grove Bowl spring scrimmage.
On Tuesday evening, head coach Lane Kiffin issued a statement on the departure of Clements:

“After meeting with Coach Clements, it was determined that it’s in the best interest of both sides to part ways,” the statement reads. “We’re grateful to Coach for the job he did for our team over the past year, and we wish him and his family the very best moving forward.”
Now, Kiffin has a spot on his staff to fill this summer before the 2021 season starts. We’ll see how his search progresses.
