One of the best traits a quarterback can have is being able to escape pressure while still making big plays.
That’s one of the biggest reasons why Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL (just ask the Dallas Cowboys).
Learning skills like that in college is important, but some SEC quarterbacks fare better in that regard than others.
On Friday, CFB Film Room took a look at which SEC signal callers have the best completion percentages when under pressure from opposing defenses, and here are the results:

Obviously, this list is ordered by completion percentage, which only tells part of the story.
As you can see, South Carolina QB Jake Bentley is No. 12 on the list with a 33.3 percent success rate, but has also tossed four touchdowns and only one interception while under pressure.
Meanwhile, Tennessee QB Quinten Dormady — No. 3 on this list — has a 51.1 percent completion percentage, but has thrown no touchdowns and three picks.
As SEC play continues, quarterbacks in the conference will face more pressure from opposing rushers, so these numbers will play a big part in which teams find success and which teams struggle.
