When you’re the defending national champions, life is good.

That’s the case at Clemson this year, where the marching band hasn’t forgotten last year’s incredible title run.

During halftime of the Tigers’ season opener against Kent State, the Clemson band took a shot at the Buckeyes, spelling out “31-0” during the show:

The 31-0 score is, of course, significant, as it was the score by which Clemson destroyed Ohio State in last year’s Fiesta Bowl to earn a spot in the national championship game.

The Tigers then went on to earn a 35-31 victory over Alabama in the title game, so it wouldn’t be too big of a surprise to see the Clemson band troll the Crimson Tide in the coming weeks.
