LOOK: Mississippi State unveils Week 1 uniform combination

The Mississippi State Bulldogs kick off their 2017 season on Saturday afternoon against Charleston Southern, they’ll do so in a classic look.
The Bulldogs will host their FCS opponent in Starkville and will go with a traditional home uniform combination.
As you can see in the video below, Mississippi State will wear maroon jerseys and helmets and white pants, socks and cleats:

Coming off a 6-7 season in 2016, the Bulldogs will try to avoid a rough start like they had last year, when they lost to South Alabama in Week 1.
The Bulldogs host the Buccaneers at Davis Wade Stadium at 3 p.m. Central time on Saturday afternoon. The game can be seen on the SEC Network.
