Mandeville, Louisiana wide receiver Landon Ibieta committed to the Miami Hurricanes in June, but Tuesday he decided to play closer to home.

Ibieta announced his flip to Brian Kelly’s LSU program via his Twitter account.

Ibieta is listed at 6-feet, 185 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 27 Louisiana product, No. 73 wide receiver and No. 552 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite. Ibieta’s recruiting profile shows 11 scholarship offers, including Louisville, Nebraska and Virginia. Kelly’s staff extended a scholarship offer last week.
