The LSU Tigers have been waiting for a couple of key decisions from players who declared for the 2020 NBA Draft.

With Monday as the deadline to withdraw, the Tigers got a bit of good news regarding star guard Javonte Smart.

As you can see below, Smart took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to announce he was returning for Year 3 under coach Will Wade and the Tigers:

Smart appeared in 31 games for the Tigers last season, starting 30 of them. He averaged 12.5 points, 4.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists.

How will he fare in his third season at LSU? If he can step up and become a team leader, he could be in the draft mix for 2021.
